Wisdom is greater than knowledge, for while knowledge knows, wisdom perceives what it knows and has an awareness of what is not known. Nevertheless, there is no wisdom without knowledge. But where there is wisdom and knowledge together, in understanding they become one.

Selfishness is not strength; it is weakness parading as strength. And when selfishness prevails, it is not a conqueror; but rather, the work of a slave master. True strength possesses the power to overcome self will; true wisdom knows when to do so.
